we were founded Jonathan worked for two major public accountancy practices
and also for a multinational company before deciding the time was ripe to start
his own practice - and the original reason for setting up a business was to be
better than the other available accountants! This was back in 1998! Having no
clients (and no income!) was not a problem as his holistic approach to client
service proved to be a winning formula. Staffing soon became a priority - but
not just anyone will do! Our core values mean that we try to create an inspiring
workplace and similarly we try to have inspiring and awesome team members! With
a steady growth in the numbers of staff came the requirement for additional office
space. This was solved in 2003 by a move to the current premises in Cranfield
(conveniently located next to a supermarket car park!) Training Having
been the national training manager for a major accountancy practice and having
lectured on tax for a local college, Jonathan fully subscribes to the importance
of staff training. The investment we put into training ourselves is recognised
by both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and by the
Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Which is why both bodies have
granted us approved training office status.
