The Numbers

The Numbers
Quite often we talk about ‘the numbers’. But what numbers? … We think that this means the numbers that are important to you. Which is a bit of a moveable target because obviously they will vary from business to business and even perhaps from time to time.

So we have created a system to formalise an 8-step best-practice process to identify and record what your numbers are. We call it the PMI or Performance Measurement and Improvement system.

Obviously part of this information is the formal record of how your business has performed - your year-end accounts. But your numbers might also include

  • your business plan,
  • a benchmarking report to compare how well your business is doing,
  • a business valuation, or …

Information on how to improve your business and your action plan of what you are going to do to achieve those improvements!

The important thing is that you decide. You decide firstly what is important to you and secondly what you are going to use from within the 8-step process.

And everytime you are ready to develop your numbers we are ready to help. With practical and workable solutions or tools - specific ways we can help you.
